Free Diagnostic: try three real questions.

The Free Diagnostic is our Live Sandbox: three exam-style maths questions from the Aspect question bank, answered step by step, with each one reviewed straight after. It is free and needs no account or sign-in.

Open every day 08:00–22:00 WIB. At night the button opens a sample question you can answer and review straight away.

What happens

  1. Pick your level.
  2. Answer each question in three steps, the steps of our DDE Model:
    • Discovery: work out one fact the question doesn't state directly.
    • Declaration: choose the formula, equation or method that fits the problem.
    • Execution: carry it through to the final answer.
  3. See the review after every question. All three steps are walked through, the right ones as well as the wrong ones, so you see exactly which step lost the mark. Wrong multiple-choice options are written around real, named mistakes, so the review says which misconception a wrong choice points to.
  4. Your score, if you'd like a follow-up. Along the way we ask for your contact details so we can follow up about our programs. Leave them after the third question to see your score, or say no: the reviews you have seen are the whole demo, and nothing more is needed from you. How we use your details: Privacy Policy.

What it looks like

Phone screen of a Simulation question: question 2 of 3, difficulty 4, the Discovery step. A word problem about Interact Club tickets asks which expression gives the number of student tickets in terms of x, with four options: 2x + 15, x + 15, 2x - 15 and 15x + 2.
Simulation. One question, taken one DDE step at a time. Here, Discovery: which expression gives the number of student tickets?
Phone screen of the review after that question: Discovery correct, Declaration and Execution not correct. On the Declaration step the student's answer x + (2x - 15) = 258 is shown beside the correct x + (2x + 15) = 258, with the working and a note that the chosen option used 2x - 15 for the student tickets.
Review, straight after. Every step marked, the answer given beside the correct one, the working, and what the wrong option chosen points to.

Real screens, captured from the Live Sandbox on 14 October 2026.

Why steps, not just answers

Most students don't lose marks because they can't calculate. They get stuck at a specific step: some understand the question but pick the wrong approach, others set it up well and slip on the final calculation. Recording each step separately shows where that happens, so practice goes to the real problem.

What it runs on

The same question engine and question bank that subscribed students use. It works in a phone or computer browser; there is nothing to install.
